2008 Oklahoma SBO Winner

Ms. Nancy McKay, Chief Financial Officer for Jenks Schools was chosen by the Oklahoma ASBO Board of Directors to be recognized as the “School Business Official of the Year” for Oklahoma ASBO in 2008. Nancy is currently serving as Vice President of Oklahoma ASBO at this time and she has been a tireless worker for ASBO for many years.

A member since July 1984, Nancy has served as a member on our Finance, Auditing, Accounting & Treasurer Committee. She also was Chair of this committee and continues to be the boards representative to this committee. She has been a frequent presenter at our conferences and she also regularly presents at the Oklahoma Center for School /Business Management on matters relating to investing and securing funds for schools. She has attended numerous ASBO International meetings.

OkASBO Executive Secretary, C. Jack Harrel, presents Ms. Debra Jacoby with the 2006 School Business Offical of the Year award. Ms. Jacoby, CFO of the UnionSchool district was the unanimous choice of the Professional Development Committee and the Oklahoma ASBO Board of Directors to be recognized as the “School Business Official of the Year” for Oklahoma ASBO in 2006.
